Bruchko.

Bruchko by Bruce Olson is a book about a young boy and his calling to a native tribe in South America. The book begins by retelling his unusual encounter with Christ within a church that did not recognize that encounter. He later feels a distinct calling from God to move to South America and share this faith with a certain tribe called the Motilones near the border of Columbia and Venezuela, in spite of warnings about their unmatched violence and killings. After years of disease, outright torture, and seeming misfortunes and wrong turns he finally gains acceptance with the Motilones. Largely through his friendship with Bobarishora ("Bobby"), Bruce ("Bruchko") introduces the tribe to faith in Jesus Christ. Bruce discovers that Christ himself will lead His church, that the Gospel of the Bible does not necessitate robbery of indigenous culture, and that suffering is often a necessary part of the Christian life.
This book is on my top 5 all time fav's. It has you jumping up for joy at some parts, and crying at others. If you are looking for a really good book to read this fall..... Read Bruchko. Let me know what you think when you do.

Nail Polish

Hello Readers! It's been too long! My family and I were away at camp the last week in august, and had the most amazing time! We just LOVE it up there! Not only is it the best camp ever for many reasons that stand alone, but they teach teens about loving and serving the one true God!! Then September hit, and i've been running around like a crazy chicken with her heard cut off! Camp keeps popping into my head this week as i try to remember how relaxing it was to be there! Each time Baby Love took a nap, i would sit and read my bible, letting the words of scripture impact my heart and life. It's so hard somedays when you can't even find the time to pee let alone sit down and read.
Anyways, i'm here to tell you about my little nail polish secret. Whenever i have a to do list as long as my arm, "paint my nails" is always somewhere on that list, closer to the bottom. It's one of those things i want to get down once everything else is accomplished, so my life feels more in order! lol.
Yet, at the same time i hate putting nail polish on because by the next day, it's all chipped and gross looking! So what's the use? It's a waste of my precious time. I'd have to get everything done before i paint my nails, for heaven forbid i stick my hands in soapy water, or get in the shower.
So are you ready for my secret!? - Zoya Nail Polish.
Wow. This stuff is for real. I first used it at camp, when baby went down for her nap on the first day, and it wasn't even chipped or worn looking one week later when we left to go home!! It's the longest wearing Natural nail polish on the market. And not only that, but it  doesn't smell bad, or give you a head ache because it's free of toluene, formaldehyde and camphor! Neat eh?
You can choose from over 300 gorgeous colours. I was so excited about this nail polish for the fall. Now i can enjoy a whole week or more without having to re-do my nails! Which is ideal when you have a baby and a huge to do list, but the a need to feel sexy and stylish at the same time. Hope you enjoy!

Dresses

Good Morning! I had the most wonderful wake up. My husby made me coffee early, and baby and i went in the bath while i sipped away. Now that she's napping i'm here to tell you about....Vintage Inspired Dresses! YEA! I've had so much Fun searching the web for the best possible dress. Why? No other reason then Because! Do you need any other reason to shop???
I order these two dresses down below.
Aren't they Beautiful!? So pretty, and light. I can't wait for them to come in!
I'll have to let you know how they fit. I always get nervous buying clothes from the internet, because you're never sure if it's the right size or if they'll even look good on. But if you love them as much as i did, you just have to purchase them anyways!

Most of these dresses i've shown you are from the Lulus shop, but i've never actually ordered from there. My personal favorite places are ModCloth and Ruche. They have the most unique styles! I might warn you though, if you're going to hum and haw over a dress, don't want tooo long, because selection goes fast! The stock is always changing, which is nice, because two months later you can go back on, and see all new stuff!! Makes it more exciting, and keeps you coming back for more.
Hope you enjoy. Good luck shopping.
Love.

Weekend Wrap-Up

Hello there lovelies.
I had the most wonderful weekend. The Wedding we went too was wonderful, but my favorite part was the dance. We rocked the floor all night long, and it didn't take long to start sweating!
Then we went to an Engagement party, but not just any ol' engagement party! It was for my Best Friends, and guess what!? I am the "matron of honour"! Woo Hoo! It was so sweet, held in a back yard with a big white tent, hanging jars from trees with candles in them and a lemonade stand!

Charlotte had a blast! She's going to be one of the flower girls! Hopefully she's walking by then!

Detour.

This past week Richard and I took a nice drive out of the City to a Organic Farm, and got Tons and Tons of meat for our freezer!
There was a cute little kids farm with donkey's and bunny's, so Charlotte could look at them!

Then on the way home Richard asked if we wanted to drive through old Dundas area! It such a beautiful quaint Street with old brick houses, and fun shops. As we did i saw this Coffee shop i'd been dying to go to for a while now! Detour. We parked and spontaneously sat down and had a cup of delicious Coffee.

I had a pour over brew coffee in chocolate raspberry! Once i had finished drinking the whole cup i really did feel like the after taste in my mouth was as if i had eaten chocolate!! So yummmmy!

Second time's a Charm!

Hello there fellow readers! or uh, er, very far Future Fellow Readers!
I have started this blog to be like everyone else.
Kidding.
My original intent was to document our everyday crafting, i love to make things, but as i thought more about it, i prayed it would be a journal of sorts. I place where God would use me, and help me appreciate every aspect of my life. That i would worship Him in the most mundane of jobs, by finding peace and well being in what i, or rather, we as a family enjoy!
I'm excited to share with you about the things i love to talk and think about.
So a little about myself:
I was born and raised in London, Ontario. I went through school to be a Recording Engineer, trying to find purpose in my love for music. Although i did and still do enjoy recording, my greater purpose was to marry and have babies! My handsome husbands name is Richard John, and my beautiful daughter is Charlotte Love. My family is the joy of my life, but my foundation is found in Jesus. I became a Christian when i was seven years old at a Camp called "Forest Cliff". This revolutionized my life. I would not be the person i am today, without Him being Lord over me. Bring a Christ follower is a journey. You experience ups and down's just as any other person, yet your HOPE is in Him, not in Man. Your Security is in Him, not in Things! I may love Decor, and Fashion, and Photography and Crafts, but i want you to know i would be NOTHING without Jesus dying on the cross for my sins, so that i could be FREE!
Like i said, i'm so excited to share with you parts of my life. What i'm thinking, stuggling through, or finding joy in!
So pour the Coffee, and let's Begin!
Love.
